Summer Program
During the summer, usually beginning the third week of June and ending near the middle of August, we offer a program for children 2 to 8 year olds.
Couple with the opportunity for a more relaxed pace, we add recreational components to the educational program in the summer simply because we are able to utilize the great outdoors. Most activities are planned as hands-on exploration and enhance the traditional learning of a regular school year. Field trips and outdoor explorations are a big part of our program. Team games and cooperative games take place in the spacious park adjacent to our location. This opportunity allows children to have a lot of fun while learning.
Our staff changes a little, as we usually hire some college students who are majoring in education to cover vacation time for the regular staff. There is a $40 nonrefundable registration fee for all summer students. Flexible scheduling is available during the summer program, in which families can choose any combination of days throughout the summer.
