Our Faculty

Recruiting and retaining a quality staff is one of our top priorities. Teachers are required to have four-year degrees in early childhood education. Assistant teachers are required to have at least the equivalent of an associate degree in education. We are fortunate to have had more than half of our faculty members with The Aemilian Preschool for more than 10 years, including some for more than 20 years! We know that it is these people who make our program special.

Typical Schedule

Our school year usually begins in the first week of September and runs through the second full week of June. We offer half- and full-day programs for all ages. For our full-day programs, we are open from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday. The half-day program is available for all ages and runs from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Children who are two and three years old may attend two to five days per week, and it is recommended that children in 4K attend at least three days a week.
